DIETH Unleash Brutal “Pound of Flesh” Video, Introduce New Lineup

DIETH have dropped a new single and video, “Pound of Flesh,” the first release from a changed lineup and an early preview of their second album, expected March 2027 via Fireflash Records.

The extreme metal band’s lineup now features bassist Tobias Cristiansson, known for his work with Grave and Necrophobic and formerly Dismember. He joins Guilherme Miranda (guitar and vocals), Michał Łysejko (drums) and Hubert Więcek (guitar).

New Song, New Era

“Pound of Flesh” mixes death and thrash metal, while its lyrics draw on the 1631 Sack of Magdeburg and the human cost of war. The band says the song connects a historical atrocity with the suffering caused by conflicts today.

The official music video features graphic imagery and intense performances to reflect those themes.

Miranda calls the track one of his favorite things the group has created and says it opens an exciting new chapter for DIETH.
