MOTÖRHEAD’s Orgasmatron 40th anniversary celebration continues with a newly remixed version of “Built for Speed” and an animated lyric video.
“Built for Speed” is the second single taken from longtime Motörhead collaborator Cameron Webb‘s new 2026 remix of the album, reconstructed from the original multitrack recordings. The full anniversary edition arrives November 6, 2026.
Inside the Anniversary Release
The expanded Orgasmatron edition features a remaster of the original album and Webb’s new remix, plus studio rehearsals and outtakes recorded in 1985 and the band’s complete 1986 BBC Radio 1 Friday Rock Show session. Formats include a deluxe 3LP bookpack and a 2CD edition, while a separate 1LP edition offers the remastered original studio album on transparent violet vinyl.
The original 1986 record featured Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel and Pete Gill. Songs including “Orgasmatron,” “Deaf Forever” and “Built for Speed” remained important parts of the band’s live legacy.
The new animated lyric video was created by Lee Gregory of ILoveMotion. According to the Motörhead team, the aim of revisiting Orgasmatron was to explore the sound contained in the original tapes without replacing the original mix.
