DIETH just kicked the door open on their next chapter. The band has signed with Fireflash Records, added Swedish bassist Tobias Cristiansson — known for GRAVE, NECROPHOBIC and his former run with DISMEMBER — and set October 16 for a new single and video, “Pound of Flesh.”
This is more than a lineup shuffle. DIETH are building toward their second studio album with Guilherme Miranda on guitar/vocals, Michał Łysejko on drums, Hubert Więcek on guitars and Cristiansson on bass. Miranda is already calling “Pound of Flesh” one of the most brutal things the band has done, making the October 16 release the first real look at what this version of DIETH sounds like.

DIETH are proud to announce their signing with Fireflash Records, which marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band.
“This feels like the right home for us, as they share our vision of where we can take the band. We’ve poured our heart and soul into this new music, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited about what we have in store. New line-up, new music, new album – this is just the beginning,” says vocalist and guitarist Guilherme Miranda.
Alongside the new record deal, the band have unveiled their new line-up, welcoming Swedish bassist Tobias Cristiansson, who is known for his work with GRAVE, NECROPHOBIC and, formerly, DISMEMBER. The new line-up comes as DIETH prepare to launch the next era of the band with new music, a new video, and their second studio album.

The first taste of what is to come will be the single “Pound of Flesh,” one of the band’s most brutal tracks to date, which will introduce this new chapter of DIETH. The song will be released alongside a video on October 16.
