Progressive metal veterans ZERO HOUR are opening the next chapter of their catalog with No Man’s Land, a new EP arriving October 16 through the band’s own CynNormal Lab Recordings.
The band has unveiled the instrumental version of the title track, “No Man’s Land,” following its premiere through The ProgSpace. The EP pairs two new songs — “Codes Of Violence” and “No Man’s Land” — with instrumental versions of both tracks.
ZERO HOUR currently features founding guitarist Jasun Tipton and vocalist Erik Rosvold alongside bassist Andreas Blomqvist, keyboardist Jeremy Villucci and drummer Roel van Helden. The drums were recorded at Kohlekeller Studio, while Matt LaPlant handled mixing and mastering at Madtown Mix Studio. Wayne Joyner created the artwork.
The group originally formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1990s and released six studio albums between 1998 and 2008 before going inactive. ZERO HOUR returned with Agenda 21 in 2022, and No Man’s Land now pushes that comeback forward with a compact, highly technical new release.
