Evans Blue Return With “Speak,” Announce New Chapter With Aphotic Records

EVANS BLUE have released “Speak,” a new single marking the band’s signing with Aphotic Records. The track premiered on SiriusXM Octane on October 8, 2026, according to an announcement from O’Donnell Media Group.

For listeners who know Evans Blue through songs like “Erase My Scars,” “Cold” and “This Time It’s Different,” “Speak” carries the group’s blend of heavy melodies and deeply personal lyrics into a new phase.

What “Speak” Is About

The song deals with grief and the struggle to express feelings that can become overwhelming. Vocalist Dan Chandler describes it as a story of living with loss while refusing to give up on yourself. Bassist Joe Pitter says the writing process has reconnected him with the creativity that brought the band together.

A New Label Partnership

“Speak” was written and performed by Evans Blue, produced by Chris Dawson and the band, mixed by Dawson and mastered by Mike Kaljian. The band’s current lineup includes Chandler on vocals, Pitter on bass, Parker Lauzon and Vlad Tanaskovic on guitars.

The new release introduces the band’s partnership with Aphotic Records, the independent label founded by producer Dawson.
