Carbellion’s sound doesn’t fit neatly into one box. It’s heavy, groove-driven rock shaped by grunge, traditional hard rock, and stoner-rock influences. Founded in Southeastern Wisconsin in 2004, the band built its reputation the hard way—releasing its own music, playing hundreds of shows, and sharing stages with the likes of Motörhead, Clutch, Corrosion of Conformity, Shinedown and Sevendust.

The band’s upcoming full-length album, This Is Our Style, is scheduled for November 13, 2026 through Eclipse Records. It follows 2023’s Weapons of Choice and features 11 tracks, including a version of Tonic’s “Open Up Your Eyes.” Chris Djuricic worked with the band on production at Belle City Sound, and Andy VanDette handled mastering.

New music: “This Is Our Style” and “I Don’t Want to Be Your Dog”

The title-track music video brings Carbellion’s passion for rock and classic American muscle cars together. Shot at a Violators Car Club gathering, it puts the band and the car community front and center. Their other recent single, “I Don’t Want to Be Your Dog,” takes a different angle, exploring the pressure to live up to the reckless expectations that can come with a rock-and-roll image.

For the new era, Cameron Kellenberger handles lead vocals alongside guitarists Brandon Bauer and Jamie Damrow, bassist Steve Sheppard and drummer Brent Nimz. There’s a lot of history behind the group, but the title of the new record makes the point: Carbellion know exactly what kind of band they want to be.
