Norwegian heavy metal group AVRAK have released their second single and video, “The Lonely Shadow,” ahead of the band’s self-titled debut album.
AVRAK is due October 9 through Peaceville Records. The band features Anders Hegna alongside Darkthrone guitarist Ted Skjellum, with Terje Kråbøl on drums and Steinar Gundersen on bass.
The nine-track album blends classic heavy metal and doom-rock foundations with synth textures and traces of black-metal riffing. It was recorded, mixed and mastered by Knut Magne Valle at Mølla Studio in February 2026.
The album includes “Forever Mountain,” “Unborn,” “Long May The Lums Reek,” “Rot,” “Varde,” “Cloaks Of Power,” “The Lonely Shadow,” “The Rift” and “Hav.”
AVRAK have also confirmed an album-release show in Oslo on November 7.
AVRAK will be available on CD, black vinyl, silver vinyl and digitally beginning October 9.
