Montreal sci-fi death/thrash trio DISSIMULATOR are streaming their second album, Artifice Dissolves, ahead of its October 2 release through 20 Buck Spin.
The band features drummer Phillipe Boucher, bassist Antoine Daigneault and guitarist/vocalist Claude Leduc, with members connected to Chthe’ilist, Atramentus, Beyond Creation and Incandescence.
The record pushes the group’s technical death/thrash sound further into progressive and futuristic territory, combining sharp riffing, rapid rhythmic shifts and a heavy sci-fi atmosphere.
Artifice Dissolves was recorded across Productions Tehom and the band’s own sessions, then reamped, mixed and mastered by Hugues Deslauriers at Roarrrsoundsstudio. Artwork comes from Noah Cutter Meihoff, with layout by Audrey Pasquini / Bangs! Studio.
The album arrives October 2 on LP, CD and digital formats through 20 Buck Spin.
Rocking With Jam Man has reached out about a possible interview with DISSIMULATOR.
