METHANE are not easing into their next record. Demolate hits October 2 through Fireflash Records/Edel, and the band’s pitch is exactly what the title suggests: fast, abrasive thrash built for a pit, with NYHC bite colliding with Bay Area speed.
Founded in 2012 by Tim Scott and Jimi Mästerbo, METHANE have spent years grinding through European and U.S. stages alongside acts including Whiplash, Warbringer, Nervosa and Massacre. The eight-track Demolate opens with “360° of Destruction,” which is also being pushed with a video ahead of the album.

A relentless touring machine, METHANE has left a trail of destruction across countless stages in Europe and the U.S. through headline runs, support slots with bands like WHIPLASH, WARBRINGER, NERVOSA, MASSACRE, and festival appearances such as Sabaton Open Air, Speed Metal Party and In Flammen.
