Swedish metal band XION have scored three placements on the official Swedish album charts, Sverigetopplistan, with their new album When Stars Collide.
The record reached No. 3 on the vinyl chart, No. 5 on the physical chart and No. 19 on the hard rock chart following its September 11 release. The showing puts the young band into the same chart conversation as some of rock and metal’s biggest established names.
Vocalist Robin Björk thanked fans for supporting the album and encouraged listeners to catch the new material live. XION formed in 2022, with some members still under 18 at the time, and have quickly built momentum in Sweden’s modern metal scene.
When Stars Collide is available digitally, on CD and on phantom-purple vinyl, along with Bandcamp bundles and merchandise. The band also has Swedish live dates scheduled through October.
