THUS SPOKE ZARATHUSTRA have a new video, a new single and a packed run of shows coming up. The Maryland deathcore band released “In My Dreams…” through Prosthetic Records, and vocalist Andy Reynolds says the track represents the band’s own identity rather than just a throwback to Myspace-era deathcore.
The lyrics challenge blind acceptance of what you’re told to believe, while the music keeps the band’s breakdown-heavy sound moving forward. The five-piece lineup is Reynolds, guitarists Evan McArthur and Scott Chan, bassist Bradon Albaugh and drummer Joey Bowers.
There is also a lot of road ahead: the band starts November 4 in Charlotte, with a November 14 stop at Preserving Underground in Pittsburgh, then continues through December 11. Girls Of Glass and xMercyx join part of the run, with Destroy All! Humans and The Crimson Armada appearing on later dates. The full itinerary and official release are below.

Maryland-based deathcore practitioners THUS SPOKE ZARATHUSTRA are pleased to present their new single and accompanying video for the track “In My Dreams…,” out now on Prosthetic Records.
When you shed past regrets, insecurities, and heartaches, you inch closer to realizing your potential. Through exorcising pain, THUS SPOKE ZARATHUSTRA embodies a philosophy of regeneration and renewal in their artistry. The Maryland five-piece – Andy Reynolds (vocals), Evan McArthur (guitar), Scott Chan (guitar), Bradon Albaugh (bass), and Joey Bowers (drums) – not only shake, but ultimately loosen and break the grip of deep-seated trauma with fits of quaking deathcore, expertly executed death metal, and unexpected melody.
Comments Reynolds on their latest track, “In My Dreams…,” "This song feels like what the band has been trying to do since the beginning. It feels like a THUS SPOKE ZARATHUSTRA song, not a Myspace deathcore revival song. This era of the band has its own identity rather than being put in a box. Lyrically, it’s also about being put in a box, in a way. It’s important to know when you’re choosing to believe something versus blindly following it because you’re told it’s the right thing to do. Question everything…even God.”

THUS SPOKE ZARATHUSTRA were early to the revival deathcore scene, arriving in 2022 and delivering a sound of Gothenburg melodeath-inspired ferocity. The collective buzzed with Act Like You Don’t Know (2023) and I’m Done With Self Care, It’s Time For Others’ Harm (2025), yielding fan favorites like “I Can’t Save You” and “Gage Lanza 2: Return Of The Red Hammer.” Kerrang! affirmed, “In a speedy half-hour, I’m Done With Self Care… makes the case for TSZ as ones to watch,” and Out Of Rage raved, “It’s heavy, it’s intense, and it leaves you eager to see what they do next.” Still, those albums were mere hints at what’s to come and these Baltimore bastions of the breakdown are primed to bring the brutal back in the heaviest way possible.
THUS SPOKE ZARATHUSTRA will join Girls Of Glass and xMercyx for a sixteen-date US Tour next month followed by a headlining tour with support from Destroy All! Humans and The Crimson Armada on select dates. Tickets are on sale now HERE. See all confirmed dates below.
