PYOGENESIS are keeping their comeback moving. The German alternative and gothic metal veterans have released a video for “Sing As If,” another preview of Adolescence, arriving January 15, 2027, through Hamburg Records.
After more than three decades of shifting between gothic atmosphere, heavy guitars and huge melodies, the band is refusing to stick to one lane. Recent singles have ranged from the dark collaboration with THE OTHER to a surprising power-metal turn. Now “Sing As If” adds another chapter, with three German shows lined up around the album release.

German alternative and gothic metal pioneers PYOGENESIS continue their comeback with the release of the new music video for “Sing As If,” offering another glimpse into the forthcoming studio album Adolescence, scheduled for January 15, 2027 through Hamburg Records.
The new release follows three singles highlighting different sides of the band. “All I Am Is Bleeding,” featuring horror-punk group THE OTHER, marked the band’s first new music in five years. “Uncontrolled” explored the turmoil of adolescence through a heavier approach. “Nothing But My Heart” introduced a power-metal direction for the first time in the band’s 35-year history, with vocalist Flo V. Schwarz at the center.
From gothic melancholy to aggressive riffs and uplifting melodies, the band describes musical evolution as central to its identity.
