Iron Maiden weren’t supposed to be touring North America in 2027. That plan has officially changed. The metal legends announced on October 16 that their Run For Your Lives celebration will return for a third and final North American leg next spring, adding 16 shows after a successful 2026 run.
The tour opens April 14 at Tacoma Dome in Washington and ends May 16 at Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland. It’s aimed largely at cities the band missed this year, including several dates across the Northwest, Southeast and Southwest.
Iron Maiden 2027 Dates: New York, Ohio and More
For fans in New York, the closest newly announced date is May 11 at UBS Arena in Belmont Park. The band will also headline Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, on May 14, before wrapping this leg at Boardwalk Rock on May 16.
Other stops include Vancouver (April 16), Portland (April 18), Phoenix (April 26), Dallas (April 28), Tampa (May 1), Atlanta (May 5), Raleigh (May 7) and Hartford (May 9). Bullet For My Valentine and The Raven Age will provide support on the tour’s regular dates.
Why Maiden Changed Their Plans
Bassist Steve Harris explained in the announcement that the band had intended to take a break from live performances in 2027. The reception to the North American shows changed the conversation: the musicians wanted to reach regions they hadn’t visited on this run.
The Run For Your Lives production has celebrated Maiden’s first 50 years with material from their earlier catalog and a huge stage presentation. Now another group of cities gets its chance to experience it.
