BADSQUATCH have released “All My Friends Are Parasites,” a new single and video from an upcoming 14-track debut album. The track is built on old-school thrash influences, with lead guitar by Cinthya Blackcat.
The artist describes the song as a response to exhausting, one-sided friendships and relationships. Its aggressive delivery explores learning to set boundaries while recognizing how personal growth can change the people around us.
The single is identified in the announcement as the final advance track from the forthcoming album, described as a project about mental health, growth and understanding what it means to be human.
BADSQUATCH have also announced a series of Midwest concerts, including appearances in Omaha on October 9, Rushville on October 23, Valentine on October 24, and further Nebraska shows through early November. A November 5 concert in Lincoln with With A Vengeance has been listed.
