ANA are taking their latest chapter straight from the road to the screen. The Australian couture symphonic-metal band have released the new video for “Following the Wind” while in the middle of a U.S. run with Danzig, Twin Temple and Burning Witches.
Rather than another controlled studio performance, the Aaron Mak-directed clip was filmed during ANA’s recent Japan tour and leans into the band’s live energy, backstage victories and the momentum surrounding their latest album, Motivated By Death. That makes this one more than a standard tour video: it connects ANA’s current live run, their documentary work and a record that continues to push their mix of orchestral scale and modern heavy rock.
Motivated By Death arrived May 29, 2026 through Eclipse Records. “Following the Wind” is the fourth video from the album. ANA’s remaining announced U.S. dates include Grand Prairie, Texas on September 20 and Anaheim, California on September 26.

As couture symphonic metal band ANA storms across the United States on tour with Danzig, Twin Temple and Burning Witches, they drop this electrifying new music video for “Following the Wind.” Directed by Aaron Mak and filmed during their recent Japan Tour, this music video captures the visceral energy of a band hitting their stride on the global stage, offering fans a rare glimpse into the chaotic beauty of life on the road. Blending heavy rock riffs with soaring classical elements, ANA has carved out a unique space for fans of Evanescence, Nightwish, and Dorothy.
“Following the Wind” is a visual anchor for the band’s full-length studio album, Motivated By Death, released May 29, 2026 via Eclipse Records. This is the fourth music video from the album.
Vocalist Anna Khristenko noted that the band has long wanted to shoot a live video to capture the energy shared between performers and crowd. Director Aaron Mak, who previously worked with ANA on the documentary Watch Me As I Rise, filmed the band from the perspective of an audience member while also capturing offstage moments and milestones. Led by vocalist Anna Khristenko, ANA pair orchestral arrangements with symphonic metal and modern hard rock. The album was produced by Khristenko and Josh Mak, engineered and mixed by Chris Themelco at Monolith Studios, and mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson at The Panicroom Studio.
