ZORNHEYM have opened the doors to their asylum again. The Swedish symphonic metal project’s new album Descending Into Madness is out now through Noble Demon, extending the dark narrative universe the band has been building since its 2017 debut.
Created around Zorn’s vision of metal, orchestration, horror storytelling and visual art working as one piece, the record pushes the Zornheim concept into another era of the fictional institution.

Symphonic metal band ZORNHEYM have released Descending Into Madness via Noble Demon. Founded by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Zorn, formerly of Dark Funeral, the project combines cinematic orchestration, heavy metal and melodic death metal within an ongoing horror narrative centered on the Zornheim mental asylum.
The album is available in digital, vinyl, Collector’s Edition CD, Digipak and A5 book formats.
