Interview: Sticks N Stones — Brotherhood, Touring, and “Changes”

I just wrapped up a killer interview with Sticks N Stones, the hard rock band out of Toronto, Ontario that’s been building serious momentum across Canada and the U.S.

Right away, we got into the foundation of the band — how it all started, how two brothers managed to turn a shared love of rock and metal into a full-force touring act, and what it’s really like trying to keep a band together when family is involved. Not many sibling bands survive long-term, so we dug into what makes their dynamic work, where the tension shows up, and how they turn it into fuel instead of friction.

We also talked about the Toronto music scene — a city that’s constantly packed with live shows, major touring acts, and nonstop competition. Sticks N Stones gave real insight into what it takes to stand out in a place like that, and how the pressure of being surrounded by huge artists can either challenge you or push you forward.

A big focus of the interview was their track “Changes.” They broke down how fast the song came together in the studio and how working with Ray Luzier and Scott Bush at Lose Yer Ear Studio in Nashville completely changed the energy of the session. From idea to tracking drums and guitars in the same day, it was one of those rare moments where everything just clicks.

We also got into life on the road — touring with bands like L.A. Guns, playing across the U.S. and Canada, and what it’s really like living out of vans, hotels, and green rooms. Of course, we covered the fun side too — fast food stops, backstage riders, weird fan encounters, and the chaos that comes with constant touring.

We even touched on merch, fan culture, and what’s next for the band as they keep pushing forward.

Sticks N Stones are in that phase where things are clearly building fast — more music coming, more touring, and a growing fanbase that’s starting to catch on in a big way.

Full interview coming soon. Stay locked in.
