Rocking With Jam Man talks with Frame42
Rocking With Jam Man talks with Frame42 about their new EP, being a brother and sister band, touring, and what is next for them
Frame 42, the emerging hard rock band known for their fresh,
contemporary approach to classic rock, is set to unleash their long-awaited EP on June 21st. Featuring
two released singles, "Thicker Than Blood" and "Ramona," alongside three exhilarating new tracks, “Pit
Crew," "Petunia," and "Intoxicate,” this highly anticipated release will showcase their remarkable talent.
Frame 42's groundbreaking collaboration with Toby Wright, a distinguished music producer known for
his work with iconic bands like Korn, Sevendust, Alice in Chains, and KISS, has culminated in a distinctive
sound that defines this EP. Wright’s involvement has not only elevated Frame 42’s sound to new heights,
but has also propelled the band to solidify their unique musical identity.
The self-titled EP captures the essence of Frame 42's dynamic energy, with each track embodying the
band's commitment to their craft.
"Thicker Than Blood" and "Ramona" have already garnered attention and praise from both critics and
fans. These tracks serve as a testament to Frame 42's ability to effortlessly blend vintage rock
sensibilities with powerful melodies, cementing their position as one of the most promising emerging
acts on the rock scene.
In addition to the previously released singles, the EP introduces three new tracks. "Petunia" showcases
the band's versatility, with an emotionally raw vocal and a sultry guitar solo to make sure the subtle
beauty of the track comes across. "Pit Crew" sees the band at its heaviest and showcases Frame 42's
ability to connect with their audience on a deeply visceral level. Lastly, "Intoxicate" injects a dose of raw
emotion with angular, aggressive guitars and Ava Morris’ smooth, bewitching vocals to level them out
creating a multi-dimensional sonic journey.
At the heart of Frame 42’s musical journey lies an unwavering dedication to their artistry and a deep-
rooted sense of camaraderie. The familial bond between band members (singer Ava and bassist Brock are
actual siblings and Lucas, Michael and Ben are longtime friends so they may as well be family) is what
fuels their creative process and translates into captivating live experiences, garnering the band a devoted
fanbase in their home state of Michigan.
With the release of their new self-titled EP, Frame 42 will undeniably make their mark on the
contemporary rock landscape, showcasing their extraordinary talent and their fearless commitment to
pushing musical boundaries.
