The first single from the album, a riveting version of the Albert King classic, Can’t You See What You’re Doing to Me, will be released on QVR on March 25.

The album, which is produced by Bonham and mixed at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios in the UK, shows off the band’s skill at interpreting both great and obscure blues/soul compositions spanning 70 years including their versions of songs by Albert King, Johnnie Taylor, Ann Peebles and O.V. Wright, amongst others.

Throughout the recording process of the album, Deborah and Peter have shown a deep respect for the original songs while reaching deep to make each song an exciting new adventure for the listener.

The album features guest musicians who have performed with artists including Robert Plant, Portishead, Massive Attack, blues great Bobby Rush and the members of Deborah’s live band and Paul Rodgers’ band Free Spirit.

Over the course of her impressive career, Deborah has established herself as one of the UK’s finest blues/rock/soul singers by releasing three previous critically acclaimed albums, touring the U.S., UK, and Europe, and performing and/or touring with artists including Robert Plant, Foreigner, Paul Rodgers, Jeff Beck, Van Halen, Slash, Humble Pie, Donovan and many others.

Belfast-born Peter Bullick is a talented guitarist, whose passionate, fiery, original playing reflects his love for the blues, has performed throughout the UK and Europe.  Peter and the other members of the Bonham-Bullick band were selected by Free and Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers to be his backing band on his 2017 Free Spirit tour of the UK and his 2018 U.S. Stars Align tour which culminated in a Billboard charting live CD/DVD/vinyl set, which was released on Quarto Valley Records.

The band will be undertaking a UK/European tour commencing in April to promote the new album and is formulating plans to tour the U.S. sometime later this year.
